now playing: ALL the games (in 140 characters)

Lately I've been stumbling on a lot of pretty darn interesting games that perfectly fit the Transcending Pixels niche of originality and depth, but that given their length and lack of dynamic screenshots, don't really necessitate an entire five-paragraph essay detailing their greatness. In fact, their themes are usually succinct enough that ultimately, they only need about let's say 140 characters or so.

So, without further ado, ALL the games in tweet-sized bites! Not including name and such. Enjoy this little potpourri of transcended goodness!

(Hot Coffee, Pippin Barr, 2012) Not THAT kind of hot coffee you recall from a certain Take Two incident. Just a simulation of a hot cup of coffee. The art of being obvious.

(Fracuum, GlaielGamer, 2012, Ludum Dare 23) In this old-school mashup of all the 8-bits, level-to-level transitions get non-linearly, timey-wimey awesome. Cuz, META MAZES. Meta amazes.

(Pretentious Game, Keybol, 2012, Ludum Dare 23) Mocking the growing trend of emo art games on the net, taking it a step further to true meaningless existentialism WITH COLORFUL BLOCKS GEE.

(The Love Letter, Axcho and Knivel, 2012) Not so much about if you and your secret crush get to live happily ever after as it is about your ability to lead highschoolers off a cliff.
